In BlueCity we help to get the circular economy going by stimulating entrepreneurship. Scaling is needed for real impact, but many initiatives in the circular economy are still small and cute. BlueCity helps entrepreneurs to quickly identify a business case, test it and scale it up if possible. We are building an ecosystem in which streams are used and circulated locally as much as possible.

We are looking for a mix between circular entrepreneurs who do something in the biological cycle and in the technical cycle. From students or start-ups looking for proof of principle, to scale-ups with proof of concept. From low tech to high tech, from practical to scientific – we are looking for that combination.
