BlueBlocks

BlueBlocks is a design agency that experiments and designs with bio-based materials. Beautiful new materials are used in sustainable designs. Unused residual flows from the agri-food sector or other natural raw materials are used as a basis. Among other things BlueBlocks makes a bioplastic from North Sea algae, and the residual fibers are processed into glue-free building material. In addition to systemic design, BlueBlocks is also experimenting with biomaterials based on other, barely used (or unused) raw materials, such as seaweed-based biodegradable plastic, paper and hardboard.
