4 OMID's operating company, 4 Earth 2 Mars Holding B.V., is based at the Space Business Innovation Center (SBIC) in Noordwijk and specializes in Circular Architectural Techniques (CATs) - a revolutionary approach to modular, reconfigurable and sustainable construction. By integrating circular design principles, origami and geometry, the company strives for improved efficiency, lower costs and minimal environmental impact within the built environment.

For centuries, geometry has provided insight into both natural and man-made structures. The last 100 years have led to lighter and more efficient dome structures. Despite the great potential of these structures, they remain complex and expensive to scale up. 4 OMID sees this as a challenge to be seized with both hands. Thus, it developed a solution that is ten times more efficient, scalable and sustainable - not only for on Earth, but also for potential future habitats beyond our planet.
