Interview with Jasper Smit from Rotterdamskrom

From a business administration student with a driving company to a circular entrepreneur, Jasper (23) is co-founder of Rotterdamskrom and wants to straighten out a twisted story. He does this by saving Rotterdam trees that have been discarded from the chipper and thus using the residual flow for other purposes. During his studies he mainly learned to think according to linear economics. Until he became acquainted with the economy of meaning, based on the ideology of Kees Klomp. This was a pilot lecture where Jasper learned more about where we exactly stand in the world. It opened his eyes to the change that is needed. When he finished his studies, he thought, I have to do something with this. Entrepreneurship is in Jasper's blood, so two years ago he founded Rotterdamskrom.
