From local crop to innovative product: this was the grand finale of the Circular Challenge

On Monday, November 11, after six weeks of hard work in the BlueCity Lab, it was time for the young professionals of the Circular Challenge Crops and Fibers to present their new circular solutions for the local crops bog myrtle, willow, miscanthus, and sweet chestnut. For the first time in BlueCity’s Circular Challenge history, the four teams competed for not one, but two prizes: one for the best business model and another for the best social impact. What innovative solutions did the teams come up with, and who will receive funding from New European Bauhaus to further develop their idea within the ecosystem of BlueCity?
